Drilling here is no different than drilling overseas

Drilling in Alaska may make us a fraction less dependent on foreign oil, but the oil and the amount of pollution and damage that comes with it (and its pipeline) are just as dirty as any other oil. Once again, the Republican ticket doesn't want to mention this; they just continue to beat their drilling in Alaska drum. It will make us safer! Yes, fear will sell anything, even two greedy win-at-all-costs candidates.
